Ollie Polly Play Cafe

I first visited Ollie Polly in August 2025, I had heard good reviews locally for years but never managed to get there. When i visited i was heavily pregnant and found it a pleasant experience. Easy to book a table, the layout works so well in comparison to other play cafes, i was sitting and enjoying a delicious lunch whilst watching my toddler play and having fun without me having to run around after him or being locked off. The play cafe is well organised and bookings means it doesn't get overcrowded and enough variety of play areas to wear out the toddler. When I gave birth my inlaws took my toddler out a few times to help me out. Ollie Polly was their preferred place to entertain my toddler, they loved the food, great menu choices and friendly personable staff. I decided to throw my toddler a birthday party this year as I didn't want him to be jealous of our babies 1st birthday but at the same time I couldn't bear the thought of planning and organising another party! I researched lots of play cafes, softplay options and found Ollie Polly to be offering the best options. I had family coming from some distance and wanted to feed them and knew that Amy and Neil would provide a decent spread and that the barista coffees would be good. They also offered pastries and teas as part of the kids package. I added sweet cones and themed decorations too, so I literally didn't do anything but turn up! The advertising is correct, completely stressfree party. It was amazing! I can't recommend them enough for a toddler's birthday party. Amy was so well organised, the food was delicious and plenty. The team served it for our kids and planned the day out well. They cut and served the cake too, took great photos for us and even handed out the party bags, which we ended up having to use as bribes to get the kids to leave as they loved it so much. Our guests were happy and we got lots of positive comments, local ones wanting to return for a visit. Everything was perfect, kids loved it, great food, drink and so well organised. Thank you so much, really appreciate all your hard work! Honestly can't recommend them enough!

Choosing Ollie Polly Play Cafe was the best decision we could’ve made when selecting a venue for our daughter’s 1st Birthday party. I admittedly was quite apprehensive about letting someone else organise and set up the decorations for the theme we chose (after working in events myself) and I was honestly blown away. The attention to detail was so thorough and they hit the nail on the head - everything down to the straws was thought of. The day went so smoothly and our guests couldn’t stop singing the staff and venue’s praises - we had babies and children of all ages and everyone had fun and had something to play with and explore. The food was really good! We ordered the Wings & Tings and skewers & sliders platters, as well as sandwiches and they were all a huge hit with our guests. We had a child with celiac as one of our guests and the staff went above and beyond without making a fuss to make sure she was catered for and most importantly didn’t feel singled or left out of anything when it came to the kids meal time and cake cutting time. It was such a stress free experience and we can’t recommend Ollie Polly Play Cafe and their entire service enough. Thank you for giving our daughter and us the best 1st birthday to remember!

Wow wow wow! We had the BEST experience with Ollie Pollie who threw our daughter the most memorable 1st birthday party. From start to finish the entire service from Neil and Amy was nothing short of impeccable. The vision i had for my daughters birthday was truly lived in the most beautiful setting. Everything i asked for was delivered and more to the highest of standards. All my guests commented on how amazing the venue was and the food was absolutely delicious! I want to give a particular shout out to Amy who had such amazing attention to detail with the lilac butterfly theme i chose. The finishing touches were thoughtful and beautiful. For anyone who is planning to hold their child's birthday party here...do not hesitate! You will not regret your booking. I will definitely return in the future! Pros: Staff are lovely and very attentive, they take allergies really seriously, the toys were nice and clean, good variety too. Very good menu and prices were very normal. Very friendly blonde waitress with glasses and a tall lady with dark hair, also a friendly gentleman appeared right at the end. Great value all round. Cons/Suggestions: Toilets could do with a deep clean, the buggy park needs rethinking, tables are very close together and the customers struggled to move the high chairs around the place due to the wide legs so a bit of clanging and bashing there. Also a lot of the children darted towards the kitchen, you might want to consider a baby gate that starts in front of the till area?

We recently hosted our daughter’s first birthday here and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team were incredibly professional, thoughtful and accommodating, and they made the whole day feel completely stress free for us as parents. What really stood out was the level of care and attention to detail. They even sourced decorations themselves which matched our chosen theme perfectly, and it genuinely helped bring the whole event to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, organisation and kindness of the staff made such a difference and allowed us to properly enjoy such a special milestone with our family and friends. We are so grateful for everything the team did and would absolutely use them again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering hosting a children’s event or family celebration here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
